NITI Aayog official reviews development schemes in Khagaria

Khagaria: NITI Aayog’s central in charge-cum-mission director of the National Water Mission, ministry of Jal Shakti, Archana Verma, held a meeting with the top officials of the district administration here on Tuesday to review the implementation of various development schemes during the current financial year.Khagaria district has shown remarkable performance in NITI Aayog’s ranking, securing the top position nationally in delta ranking during the tenure of the then district magistrate Alok Ranjan Ghosh.Verma, along with DM Navin Kumar and DDC Abhishek Palasia, visited various centres carrying out development and welfare schemes of thedistrict administration. She visited the collection centre from where milk is sent to Sudha milk centre, Barauni.She also visited Bapu Middle School, Baluahi, where digital classes are held.Later the team visited a fishing hatchery unit and banana fibre plant producing clothes and other products besides organic fertilizers.She expressed satisfaction over the implementation of various development and welfare schemes of the Union and state govts.
